Counselling for Couples and Individuals

Facing challenges? Feeling stuck or demoralised? Anxious? Or arguing and fighting all the time?

Getting support offers an opportunity for you to explore and understand what is going on; your reactions, beliefs about yourself and of course, the possibility of change.

I work with people on a wide range of issues including: Relationship issues – Self harm – Anxiety – Isolation – Stress – Loss of direction – Life changes – Bereavement – Panic attacks – Depression – Perfectionism – Self-esteem – Loss – Anger.

Good counselling offers, firstly, stabilisation of your emotions: feelings of being overwhelmed or of having nothing left that is worthwhile. Together we will be curious about what goes on inside you and how that affects your view of others around you and the world. As counselling proceeds I hope you will become aware of your strengths and vulnerabilities, and be able to choose how to respond to your life’s journey.

Relationships are central in our lives, whether your partner, family or friends. Good, bad or ugly there are moments when we ask how did the one who I love so much become the one I cannot even bear to look at? We long to connect but end up arguing, walking out, and in despair. Everything else can become out of balance when our closest relationships are under stress.

Counselling gives you an opportunity to find some order in your head, to talk everything through with an unbiased, non-judgemental counsellor, like myself.
